Animals for Life Animal Shelter Connecticut
.

A special thank you to everyone who participated in our 6th Annual Run for Rescue! The day started out with overcast skies, but by the time the first race got under way, we were enjoying a beautiful, sunny spring day! Humans and canines alike converged on Quassy Amusement Park in Middlebury to enjoy the festivities throughout the park. Canine demonstrations, vendors and good food could be found throughout the day. Both canine and feline adoptions were featured, thanks to the mobile unit provided by Northshore Animal League. We hope you enjoyed the day as much as we did and we thank you for helping to make it such a success!

Here are some photos taken on race day by AFL volunteer Keith Wallace. To see a more complete slideshow of the day, just CLICK HERE. Enjoy!

Looking To Adopt? Need Help With Your Pet?

Animals for Life is a no-kill animal shelter located in Connecticut. We adopt homeless cats and dogs into loving families. Every pet in our care receives a veterinary examination, vaccinations and is spayed or neutered prior to adoption.

If you are interested in adopting a loving pet to add to your family, please visit our shelter in Middlebury. We have dogs and cats of many ages, sizes and breeds who are awaiting adoption!

Animals for Life makes a lifetime commitment to every AFL animal, and our mission does not end with adoption. AFL volunteers will follow up with you after you adopt your new pet to offer advice, support, and resource services, should you need them.

If you have any questions about our organization or about the animals in our care, we want to hear from you!
